No treatment works for everyone; this includes the Toe Pad, Shoe Inserts and heel addition. If, after a reasonable time, you are still hurting with a foot, arch or heel problem, I would absolutely encourage you to seek professional care for these podiatric ailments.

Other Treatments for Morton’s Toe – Self Care
Banging Your Hand
C lose your eyes and imagine that for some strange reason, you have been banging your hand against a wall, every day, for thirty years. You do not know why, but you just keep banging away at that hand. In spite of the fact your hand is now red, swollen, throbbing, and aching you just keep banging and banging and banging away. One day a light bulb goes on in your head and commands you to “Stop banging youy hand”, so you finally stop. Great! No more banging of your hand! But now what? Well, your hand won’t get any worse, assuming you don’t go back to banging it. But thanks to thirty years of banging your hand, your hand is still very damaged. Remember that redness, swelling, throbbing and aching? Well, it is still there and hasn’t left. And, it’s not going to be healed overnight. No, it is going to take some time to repair the injury that you have inflicted on your poor little hand, and you will need some form of treatment to help heal it.
Now, open your eyes, and discover what I was really writing about. I was not really writing about your hand, but was really writing about your feet. The same damage that I described about your hand is exactly what has happened to your feet, over a period of time. Except, it is worse to your feet because you don’t walk on your hands. That sounds stupid, but it is true. If your hand was hurt, you can stop using it. You do not have that luxury with your feet, unless you can get completely off of them or have a couple of big guys carry you around the whole day.
The Toe Pad and/or Shoe Inserts should start to help you and stop your feet from getting any worse, as long as you wear them. But that is only part of the treatment in getting you back to normal. Just like the hand, after all those years of banging your feet against the ground, there is an abnormal build-up of redness, swelling, throbbing and aching. The good news is there are many simple things you can do at home to heal your long damaged feet.
